The financial holding company posted revenue of $1.12 billion in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $719.7 million, which beat Street forecasts.
Banco BBVA shares have dropped 22% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $14.93, a rise of 45% in the last 12 months.
