The Duluth, Minnesota-based company said it had profit of 55 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 61 cents per share.
The power company owner posted revenue of $360.3 million in the period.
Allete shares have increased almost 2% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased nearly 3% in the last 12 months.
