The Fort Worth, Texas-based company said it had net income of 99 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 66 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 61 cents per share.
The independent oil and gas company posted revenue of $856.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $732.9 million, also exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $724.2 million.
