On a per-share basis, the Lincolnshire, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 48 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 57 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 58 cents per share.
The recreational vehicle retailer and services provider posted revenue of $1.98 billion in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.88 billion.
