The Hopkins, Minnesota-based company said it had profit of 32 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 52 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 50 cents per share.
The provider of communication adapters posted revenue of $105.1 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $104.1 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $22.5 million, or 61 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $424 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, Digi International expects its per-share earnings to range from 46 cents to 50 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $102 million to $106 million for the fiscal first quarter.
