Hawaiian Holdings: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

HONOLULU (AP) — HONOLULU (AP) — Hawaiian Holdings Inc. (HA) on Tuesday reported a loss of $12.3 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Honolulu-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 47 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 55 cents per share.

The parent company of Hawaiian Airlines posted revenue of $706.9 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $705 million.
