On a per-share basis, the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 27 cents. Earnings, adjusted to extinguish debt and for non-recurring costs, came to 39 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 26 cents per share.
The aircraft supplier posted revenue of $393.3 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $347 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $89.6 million, or $1.20 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.38 billion.
Triumph Group expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.39 billion to $1.43 billion.
