The Warmley Bristol, Britain-based company said it had profit of 12 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 18 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 18 cents per share.
The packaging company posted revenue of $3.67 billion in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.69 billion.
Amcor expects full-year earnings in the range of 72 cents to 74 cents per share.
Amcor shares have declined slightly more than 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $10.92, a decline of roughly 7% in the last 12 months.
