CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was unchanged at $6.9750 a bushel; May corn was up 5.50 cents at $6.3025 a bushel; May oats was off 1.50 cents at $3.4450 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 2 cents at 14.8025 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr. live cattle was off .60 cent at $1.6160 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle fell .72 cent at $1.8932 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was lost 2.38 cents at $.8257 a pound.
