Paul Chi loves to tinker.
The Booz Allen Hamilton executive vice president loves to take things apart and put them back together again. The self-described “MacGyver” type relies on this natural proclivity as the leader of the company’s business intelligence unit, an arm that drives $600 million in revenue for the $9 billion, 30,000-employee consulting firm headquartered in McLean. He also serves as chairman of the firm’s global multicultural business resource group, where he’s responsible for advancing the firm’s corporate diversity, equity and inclusion strategy and providing equitable opportunities for talent from various backgrounds.
But his work to advance DEI initiatives extends beyond Booz Allen and into the larger intelligence community. He’s put all his tinkering tools on the table in a quest to grow and diversify the talent and leadership pipeline for security work.
