CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. fell 4.50 cents at $7.68 a bushel; Mar. corn was off 3 cents at $6.7525 a bushel; Mar. oats lost 7.75 cents at $3.50 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans rose 6.50 cents at 15.2825 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle was up .12 cent at $1.6242 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle fell 1.12 cents at $1.8645 a pound; Apr. lean hogs was off .42 cent at $.8570 a pound.
