CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. was off 14.25 cents at $7.7025 a bushel; Mar. corn was up 2.25 cents at $6.7950 a bushel; Mar. oats was unchanged at $3.7325 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans rose 14 cents at 15.0850 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec. live cattle rose .95 cent at $1.5815 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was up .90 cent at $1.8395 a pound; Feb. lean hogs fell 1.25 cents at $.8975 a pound.
