German grocery chain Aldi is growing its footprint in the region once again, this time with a store planned for Prince George’s County.
The grocer has signed a lease for 22,000 square feet at the Tantallon Center, located on Indian Head Highway in Fort Washington. The store, expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2022, will take space formerly occupied by Willpower Gym at 10709 Indian Head Highway, according to Divaris Real Estate, whose principal, Joe Farina, represented the landlord, Tinabe LLC, in the lease.
Aldi will anchor the shopping center along with AutoZone and Adventist Medical Group, which operates an urgent care center there. Other tenants include several full-service and fast-casual restaurants, an Enterprise rental car location, a barbershop and other health care tenants.
