For as long as I can remember, food has always played a major role in my life. I was born and raised in Peru, where my family owned and operated a chicken coop in the outskirts of Lima. They sold organic, sustainably raised chickens to locals in the region, serving as my first taste of the farming industry and one that would leave a lasting impression on me in the years to come.
