Public relations firm Pinkston acquires Oklahoma City company

Falls Church public relations firm Pinkston has acquired Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, messaging and communications outfit Pliris Strategies LLC in a bid to expand its presence in the southern U.S.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pliris founder Donelle Harder joins Pinkston as a senior vice president and Pinkston will gain the firm’s office in Oklahoma City. Pliris specializes in the counsel of execs in the private and public sectors on communications, rebranding and the restructuring internal marketing and communications operations.

Four other Pliris staffers are joining Pinkston as part of the deal.

Harder founded Pliris in March 2020 after serving as senior adviser to Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt. She previously held senior roles in congressional offices in D.C., including with the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and the Senate Armed Services Committee.
