Former GDIT executive Kristie Grinnell lands at another N. Va. technology firm

Kristie Grinnell has landed a new gig less than a month after leaving General Dynamics Information Technology.

DXC Technology Co. (NYSE: DXC) named Grinnell its new senior vice president and chief information officer Wednesday, filling a vital role vacated in August when then CIO Chris Drumgoole was elevated to chief operating officer. 

In her new role, Grinnell will oversee the Ashburn technology company’s global information technology strategy and operations, including implementing and integrating new technology systems and maintaining the company’s tech infrastructure. 

It’s a familiar title for Grinnell, who spent two years as GDIT’s global CIO and helped guide the business through the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, when it rapidly shifted to a remote work posture. 

Prior to becoming global CIO of the General Dynamics Corp. (NYSE: GD) subsidiary, Grinnell also served as its vice president of information technology and supply chain. He also previously held other roles…
