Jeremy Blank will be the next top executive to lead the Greater Washington market for Deloitte LLP, according to an internal email announcement that was obtained by the Washington Business Journal.
Blank will succeed Tamika Tremaglio, who had previously announced plans to depart for the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), where she’ll serve as executive director. She’s long worked as a consultant for the players’ union.
A spokesperson for Deloitte declined to comment.
Blank is currently a partner for Deloitte’s tax practice and has spent his entire 26-year career at the firm, according to his LinkedIn page. He will transition to his new role Jan. 3, overseeing 14,000 employees across 23 offices for the region’s largest accounting, consulting and audit company and one of its largest overall employers.
