She co-founded 20 Degrees to give the very organizations that do good the most chances at being successful, to give them financial tools to stay above water.
“We set out to solve the problem of scarcity,” Gibson says. “We saw there were a lot of people who had great solutions but didn’t have access to resources and knowledge that they needed and wanted. We set out to democratize access to knowledge and capital in a systematic way, especially for women and for people of color.”
A former development director at AppleTree Institute for Education Innovation and Miriam’s Kitchen, Gibson is dedicated to doing business with organizations giving back to the world, helping them to unlock revenue from new sources and find capital in new places.
