Tamika Tremaglio is exiting her post as the top regional executive with Deloitte LLP to be the next executive director of the National Basketball Players Association, the labor union that represents NBA players.
Tremaglio has been with Deloitte for 11 years and is currently managing principal in Greater Washington, overseeing 14,000 employees across 23 offices.
Deloitte, the largest accounting, consulting and audit operation in the region, didn’t specify a time frame for filling her position atop the D.C. region. “We will name our next Greater Washington managing partner in the near future,” the firm said Friday in a statement to the Washington Business Journal.
