Capitol Heights land slated for nearly 1,300 housing units goes on the market

A Prince George’s County plot primed for nearly 1,300 residential units is now on the market.

NAI Michael brokers Barbara Richman Kahn, Michael Isen and Michael DiMeglio have been retained to market 38 acres at 1010 and 1100 Rollins Ave. in Capitol Heights, after the undeveloped land gained approvals for the potential development of 1,290 residential units and additional commercial development.

Richman Kahn said the owner, Metro City LLC, positioned the property as a development play, hoping to massively increase its value. Metro City LLC is controlled by Rockville-based Kushner Investment Ltd., which lists Neal Bobys and Lillian Hurowitz of Rockville and several family trusts as partners, and Rockville attorney Greg Friedman as incorporating agent, according to state documents.
