Another day, another phone service outage.
This time, it was Comcast Corp. (ticker: CCZ). The victims were small to medium businesses, a Comcast spokeswoman tells KGW. The outages affected businesses across the country Tuesday, and the company says they are now fixed.
Specifically, cities including Portland, Seattle, Houston, Atlanta, Denver, and the District of Columbia experienced numerous outages.
As expected, Comcast customers were not pleased. The Seattle Times pointed to specific business complaints from outage tracking site Outage.Report. “My small business is losing revenue every second our phones are down,” according to someone in Naples, Florida.
While it appears many have seen their problems resolved, tweets Wednesday morning suggest outages are still out there.
