WASHINGTON — A former Republican candidate for president is gearing up for another fight for a political office.
The Washington Post reports Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., will announce later on Wednesday that he’ll seek re-election for his current seat.
It a reversal of a pledge Rubio made to either win the White House, or return to a more private life.
Rubio ended his presidential campaign after losing to Donald Trump in the Florida primary.
