10 Dietitians You Need to Follow on Social Media

All the nutrition information swirling on the Internet can make your head spin. One so-called expert may claim one food is bad, while the next claims the same food is a nutritional powerhouse. There are many self-proclaimed “nutritionists” who have pretty loud voices online, but there are also many registered dietitian nutritionists, or RDNs, whose reputable advice is based on the latest science. In honor of National Nutrition Month, here are 10 accounts to follow on social media:

1. Sharon Palmer

Also known as the “Plant-Powered Dietitian,” Sharon is a fellow U.S. News Eat+Run blogger who wrote “The Plant-Powered Diet: The Lifelong Eating Plan for Achieving Optimal Health, Beginning Today” and “Plant-Powered for Life: Eat Your Way to Lasting Health with 52 Simple Steps and 125 Delicious Recipes.” She presents straightforward, delicious ways to create vegetarian-based recipes.
