WASHINGTON — Two people are in the hospital after a car accident in Charles County, Maryland.
Maryland State Police say the accident happened on Brandywine Road just after midnight on Sunday morning. It started when one car hit a mailbox and ended up in the roadway in Hughesville. The driver called two family members to help.
While they were in the middle of the road, a second car crashed into the initial vehicle and struck one of the family members.
He was flown to a hospital in stable condition and the second driver suffered minor injuries.
