WASHINGTON — Five people were stabbed inside McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon in northwest Washington, according to Metropolitan Police.
Police say the incident happened inside the popular bar on Pennsylvania Avenue near the George Washington University campus just after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The father of one of the victims told WJLA that the victims grew up together and were at the bar celebrating a birthday. The victims suffered serious injuries but all are expected to survive.
Police say no arrests have been made but an investigation is underway.
