WASHINGTON — The Maryland Men’s Basketball team could be without senior
forward/guard Dez Wells for up to four weeks due to a broken bone in his right
wrist.
Wells had surgery early Friday in Baltimore.
Wells suffered the injury in Tuesday’s 72-63 win over No. 13 Iowa State in the
CBE Classic, where he was also selected to the CBE Classic All-Tournament Team.
The senior has averaged a team high 16.2 points and also has contributed 4.8
rebounds per game helping the Terps to a 5-0 record to start the season.
Maryland is in action Friday at College Park as they host the Monmouth Hawks
(2-2) for a 7 p.m. tip.
