NEW YORK (AP) — Los Angeles forward Jordan Nolan has been suspended for two games for boarding Detroit forward Darren Helm during the Kings’ 5-2 loss on Friday night.
Nolan received a minor penalty for the play at 3:53 of the third period.
Nolan, who is considered a repeat offender, loses $17,073.18 in salary under the punishment announced Sunday by the NHL. The money goes to the players’ emergency assistance fund.
Nolan has no points in 10 games this season.
