WASHINGTON –Former Major League Baseball slugger Jose Canseco tweeted last
night that his finger fell off.
Canseco, 50, had shot off his finger when he was cleaning his gun last month.
According to a series of bizarre tweets Friday night, he reported that his re-
attached finger fell off on a pool table while he was playing in a tournament
in Las Vegas, where he now resides.
He retired from baseball in 2001 and later admitted using performance-
enhancing drugs to improve his game. He wrote, “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant
‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big,” about his experiences in 2005.
Canseco was still tweeting — and joking — about the incident mid-morning on
Saturday. The question remains, who was his surgeon?
Dam I was playing in a poker
tournament last night and something crazy happened to my finger that I shot
off and they put back on.

My finger should have been
amputated from the beginning. It was very loose with no bone to connect it.it
was also smelling really bad.
