WASHINGTON — Washington Nationals first baseman Adam LaRoche is spending his offseason with a different type of game.
On Wednesday, LaRoche posted a photo with a 12-point elk he shot in the Rocky Mountains.

The enormous elk didn’t seem to make LaRoche’s former teammate Dan Haren too happy though.
Haren, now a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, responded to LaRoche’s Twitter post:
@e3laroche poor elk, just minding his own business eating some leaves and boom, dead. Atleast you're having fun.

LaRoche’s hunting has been featured on Outdoor Channel’s Buck Commander series. On the show, he appears alongside Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson, country music stars Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean and more.
LaRoche is a free agent after the Nationals declined his $15 million option.
