OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — The game between the Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs that was postponed because of the shooting in Ottawa has been rescheduled for Nov. 9.
The NHL announced the new date Thursday, a day after the game was called off. It will start at 6 p.m.
A gunman killed a soldier at Ottawa’s war memorial Wednesday then stormed Parliament before being shot dead.
The Senators next play Saturday at home against the Devils. They host the Jets on Nov. 8.
The Maples Leafs return to the ice Saturday against the Bruins in Toronto. They are at home against the Rangers on Nov. 8.
