WASHINGTON — NBC News is reporting that one of their cameramen has contracted the virus while on assignment in Liberia.
NBC says the freelancer came down with symptoms on Wednesday. He then discovered he was running a fever and immediately quarantined himself.
The network says Dr. Nancy Snyderman, their chief medical editor and correspondent, is also in Liberia and shows no symptoms of Ebola. But NBC says the entire crew is being flown back to the U.S. and will remain in quarantine for up to 21 days as a precaution.
