GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A Prince George’s County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in the sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl and the distribution of child pornography.
Twenty-seven-year-old Eugene Lewandowski was sentenced Monday in federal court in Greenbelt. He had pleaded guilty in July to one charge each of sexual exploitation of a minor for the purpose of producing child pornography and transportation of child pornography.
In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors dropped five other similar charges.
Prosecutors say Lewandowski took six videos of himself engaged in sexual acts with a sleeping 5- year-old girl and used a file-sharing program on his computer to distribute them.
It’s unclear how Lewandowski knew the girl.
