Va. man sentenced for Internet sex crimes

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A King George County man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison soliciting sexually explicit photos of minors over the Internet.

Cameron Scot Bivins-Breeden was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty in June to production of child pornography and enticement of a minor.

According to federal prosecutors, the 21-year-old Bivins-Breeden used Facebook to entice and attempt to entice 38 girls to take sexually explicit pictures of themselves and send them to him over the Internet. They say he sometimes threatened to send the photos to the victims’ friends and family to extort additional pictures from them.

Court papers show the victims ranged in age from 11 to 17.
