WASHINGTON — Motorcycle riders in the annual Sept. 11 ride are expected in Washington, D.C. Thursday.
Staging begins 9 a.m. and goes through 10:30 a.m.
These are the four staging areas:
- Ft. Washington Harley-Davidson in Ft Washington, Maryland
- Battley Harley-Davidson in Gaithersburg, Maryland
- Coleman Powersports in Falls Church, Virginia
- Patriot Harley-Davidson in Fairfax, Virginia
There will be a ride briefing at 10:30 a.m. and the ride to the National Mall begins at 11 a.m.
There is no word yet on the routes being taken into downtown D.C., but a rally will be held between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the National Mall between 12th St NW and 14th St NW.
