WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) — A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is coming to Colonial Williamsburg next month.
Called The Wall that Heals, the 250-foot replica will be installed from Oct. 9-13 at the heritage tourism site.
Like the original in Washington, the traveling half-scale replica contains the names of the 58,000 men and women who died in Vietnam. More than 2 million people have visited the exhibit since it first went on the road in 1996.
Those visitors have seen the wall at 350 U.S. locales.
