Alexandria police have arrested a man and charged him in the death of Carolyn Cross.
Police said they were called to an apartment complex in the 4800 block of Kenmore Avenue in Alexandria shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday. Cross was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have charged Dawit Seyoum, 29, of Alexandria, with first degree murder.
