EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) — A symposium at Mount St. Mary’s University asks people to consider some difficult questions about National Football League player concussions.
Associate Professor of Theology David Cloutier (KLOO’-tih-er) says the panel discussion Tuesday night in Emmitsburg focuses on the moral complicity of the businesses that sponsor the games and the fans who watch them.
The public event is the school’s 20th annual corporate social responsibility symposium.
Business school Dean Karl Einolf says the discussions have become a cornerstone of the Catholic school’s efforts to teach ethics and corporate social responsibility.
