WINCHESTER, Va. (AP) — A flock of Canadian geese that’s become a nuisance in Winchester is being evicted.
The geese have made their home on the grounds of the Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Visitor Center.
The Winchester Parks and Recreation Department says the geese have littered the grounds with waste and at times have acted aggressively toward out-of-town visitors. The department says in a news release that it’s brought in the Geese Police to remove the flock.
The company uses border collies to herd geese off property.
The eviction process began last week.
