DOSWELL, Va. (AP) — Advance tickets for the 2014 State Fair of Virginia are set to go on sale in a few weeks.
The Virginia Farm Bureau says discounted online ticket sales are set to begin Aug. 11 and run through Sept. 23.
The fair will take place Sept. 26 through Oct. 5 at The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County. Officials say last year’s fair attracted 229,000 guests.
Advance-purchase tickets may be used any one day of the fair’s 10-day run.
In-person ticket sales will begin after Labor Day.
