WASHINGTON — A video of a bear walking on its two hind legs is going viral online and effectively giving people the creeps.
The video posted Aug. 4 shows a bear walking upright like a human through a residential area in New Jersey, stopping only to peek in trash cans.
The video has been viewed more than 300,000 times on YouTube, as of Thursday morning.
The bear was last seen in Jefferson Township , New Jersey, on the morning of Aug. 4, according to the video description.
