WASHINGTON — Montgomery County Police responded to two fatal motorcycle accidents on Fourth of July, within an hour of one another.
According to the police and additional information from WUSA-9 News, the first accident occurred around 6 p.m. at the intersection of West University Boulevard and Dennis Avenue in Silver Spring. A man’s motorcycle collided with a car. The man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. No further information was available.
Within an hour afterward, police reported another accident in Burtonsville, Md., on Route 198 at Dennis Ave. Route 198 was shut down during the investigation. A woman passenger on the bike was reportedly killed; the driver, a man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. No other information was available early Saturday morning.
