WASHINGTON – After hanging out with the staff and patrons at a Georgetown bar Thursday night, Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl sat down for a late-night acoustic night cap.
The Washingtonian reported that the former Nirvana drummer was in town for a White House visit and stopped by Ri Ra for drinks with other members of the Foo Fighters and several crew members. They spent the night talking and snapping pictures with other patrons, who just happened to be there at the same time, and snapping pictures.
Grohl, who grew up in Fairfax County, also helped himself to a beer from behind the bar.
After the bar’s customers left, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee performed “Everlong” for staffers and members of the band who played that night.
