ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Candidates in the governor’s race in Maryland are due to release updated campaign finance reports.
The reports are to be released by midnight Tuesday for candidates in the Democratic and Republican primaries.
On the Democratic side, Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Attorney General Doug Gansler had the largest amount of money when they last reported in January. Brown and his running mate had $7 million cash on hand. Gansler and his running mate reported $6.3 million. Del. Heather Mizeur is using public campaign finance funds.
On the Republican side, Larry Hogan also using public campaign financing. He is running against Harford County Executive David Craig, Del. Ron George and Charles Lollar. Craig had the most of those three in January with $154,577 cash on hand.
