WASHINGTON – The Nike Women’s Half Marathon will close roads throughout Downtown D.C. Sunday morning.
About 15,000 runners are expected to participate.
Beginning just after midnight early Saturday morning, Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed from 14th to 12th streets NW and will remain closed until noon Sunday.
Pennsylvania Avenue will also be closed between 12th and 9th streets NW during the same time.
Parts of the following roads will close during the race, which starts at 7 a.m. and should wrap up by 11 a.m.:

- First Street, NW
- Maryland Ave, SW
- 3rd Street, SW
- Pennsylvania Ave, NW
- 9th Street Tunnel
- Maine Avenue, SW
- 15th Street, SW
- Independence Avenue, SW (Westbound Lanes)
- 23rd Street, SW
- Lincoln Memorial Circle
- Memorial Bridge
- Arlington Memorial Circle
- Rock Creek Potomac Parkway
- Ohio Drive
- Inlet Bridge/East Basin Drive
