WASHINGTON — Oceanfront diners in a California restaurant had a soggy meal after a wave crashed through the business’ window.
A video posted on YouTube Sunday shows a wave crashing through the front window of Moby Dick in Santa Barabara, Calif. A winter storm in the region caused strong waves and high winds.
The cellphone video shows a wave coming close to the window of the restaurant. Moments later, the water comes crashing in, breaking glass in the process.
No one was injured the in the incident, according to the NBC affiliate in Los Angeles.
“High tide and big swell can make for some salty eggs,” says the description of the video.
