WASHINGTON – All local lanes of the Inner Loop of the Beltway have reopened at Interstate 295 after an earlier truck crash.

WASHINGTON — A tractor-trailer crash caused some delays on the snowy Capital Beltway Thursday morning.
A tractor-trailer overturned on the Inner Loop at Interstate 295 and blocked the local lanes at about 7:45 a.m. Crews were on the scene working to move the tractor- trailer as of about 11 a.m.
All traffic is being diverted onto northbound I-295.

It is not clear if the driver of the tractor-trailer was injured in the crash. Authorities have not yet said what caused the crash.
Local roadways have been littered with crashes Thursday morning after overnight snow left slick roadways. Officials are requesting people not drive on the roadways Thursday morning.
