WASHINGTON – Terry McAuliffe’s inauguration has been bedeviled by rain that threatened to move the ceremonies indoors to the House of Delegates, but the weather has held off long enough for organizers to stick to the original site: the State Capitol, in Richmond, on Saturday.
Outgoing Gov. Bob McDonnell handed over the keys to the Executive Mansion in the morning, and McAuliffe is preparing to take the oath in front of a crowd that includes former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
