Metro kidnapping suspect turns self in, denies charges

WASHINGTON – A man wanted in an alleged kidnapping on Metro’s Green Line has turned himself in to Prince George’s County police.

The Washington Post reports that Timothy Williams came to the police after they released a “wanted” flyer on Twitter with his name and a surveillance photo from a Metro station.

Williams is accused of forcing a man at gunpoint to ride a train from Naylor Road in Prince George’s County to Southwest Washington on Dec. 20 while concealing a gun under a sweatshirt.

When in D.C., the victim says, he was forced to make several ATM withdrawals.

Williams says the man in the picture isn’t him.
