WASHINGTON – Blood, Sweat and Tears brings its signature jazz-rock sound to the stage at the Birchmere Friday night.
The performance will feature singer Bo Bice of American Idol fame.

Also scheduled for Friday night and Saturday at the 9:30 Club, Dark Star Orchestra is set to perform their Grateful Dead tribute.
The band, which recreates set lists from the Dead’s concerts, has toured to great success over the past 15 years.

Titan of the Telecaster Bill Kirchen brings his “Honkey Tonk Holiday Revue” to the Birchmere Saturday night.
The performance will feature Kirchen’s 1960s band mate Commander Cody.
R&B singer Will Downing is scheduled for a two-night run at the Howard Theatre beginning Saturday.
Downing’s self-described “unapologetic, unabashed romantic music” is undoubtedly smooth and soulful.
