WASHINGTON – Police are investigating a Northwest D.C. stabbing that led to a woman’s death and a man’s injuries early Friday morning.
Officials responded to the 5300 block of Georgia Avenue NW in the Brightwood Park area for reports of a double stabbing around 2 a.m., according to NBC Washington. When officials arrived, they found an injured man and woman.
Emergency crews transported the two victims to an area hospital where the woman was pronounced dead, officials told NBC Washington. The man sustained injuries, although his condition is not yet clear.
Officials have not released details about the woman’s identity. Police have not released any suspect information. It is not yet clear what led to the stabbing.
